It’s breakfast time, and you’re out of any kind of jam or preserves for toast or waffles? Or would you like to spice up your plain yogurt? It’s easier than you think!
1 tablespoon of sugar
Clean strawberries and slice them into a small microwaveable bowl (a cereal bowl would do fine).
Mix them with sugar and microwave for 30-45 seconds.
This version of strawberry jam works great as a topping for pancakes or waffles — strawberries are almost fresh but sweeter. If you want more of a jam and less of a fresh berry consistency, microwave for 30 more seconds.
